About Chef and his services...
In 1990, Chef Landry began doing a comedy cooking school for conventions that he was catering. This was so successful that clients began requesting him to present his show, even if he wasn't catering the event. He now travels around the country presenting the show at fairs, conventions, and fund-raisers. He performs in front of 3.5 million people a year in the United States, as well as Mexico, Honduras, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands and Canada.
Chef Landry can put fun into your event by providing a generous supply of family humor, along with appetizing Cajun dishes. It will be the shows that your guests remember! He begins with a lesson in authentic Cajun cooking, peppered with the Landry brand of humor, and culminates with several Creole dishes. Chef Landry's authentic Cajun cuisine includes spicy shrimp salad, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, chicken and sausage jambalaya, and for dessert, a mouth-watering bread pudding topped with rum sauce, just to name a few.
Chef Landry will do 3 shows for your event, each being 30-40 minutes in length. These shows can be with the traditional Cajun recipe mentioned earlier, or with other recipes as requested by your sponsors. We will need one helper for preparation and serving. The shows will need to be one hour apart in order to allow time to complete dishes and prepare food for the next show.
Chef Landry can arrive a day early, in most cases, in order to help with advertising for the fair. He can do live radio and TV ads for your area. He is also available for judging contests should the fair need his services. Chef Landry would also be glad to promote any of your sponsor's products. Chef Landry's show is self-contained.
